This Director of Retail role will support our Northeast grocery business unit covering the entire Northeast. This individual will be responsible for leading all retail division activity for the grocery channel. We are seeking an individual that has a history of leading a team of retail sales representatives in the grocery channel and has a proven track record that meets and exceeds their team’s objectives. In order to achieve your objectives, you must utilize strategic thinking to create business plans, set goals and objectives, and develop a strategy to execute the plan. The position will also require an individual who has the experience and ambition to go after new business development opportunities for the organization. The position is newly created and will lead the right person into future advancement in senior management.
This position is fully remote (work from home), but must be filled in Waukesha, WI or Chicago, IL.

The Customer Manager will cover the territory & surrounding area they are hired for in a given market. Develops relationships with store managers/personnel to achieve directed short and long-term performance objectives at assigned stores within a geographic territory. Activities center on wall-to-wall sales coverage including new item speed-to-shelf, schematic compliance, item and pricing surveys, promotion selling and product merchandising, resulting in incremental sales volume.
The ideal candidate is a highly self-motivated individual who will effectively represent our clients and sell their products in Natural and Specialty retailers. Candidates must be personable and highly organized.

The Senior Business Manager is critical to the current and future growth and profitability of the Company. The Senior Business Manager is recognized by both the Management Committee and his/her peers as a key contributor to the organization. He/she exhibits high proficiency in performance of responsibilities. The designation of Senior Business Manager requires Management Committee approval.
This position is responsible for the training and development of customer employees to include but not limited to, adherence to plan-o-grams, building of displays, resets and remodels, design, production and decoration of product. The incumbent in this position has excellent product knowledge and is viewed within Acosta and by the customer and client as the "expert" in procedures and setup of Fresh Foods and/or Bakery and/or Deli lines. The incumbent may work and travel independently and visit stores as assigned to ensure customer requirements are met. In this capacity, the incumbent is the Acosta professional who represents the company in ensuring questions are answered and acts as the lead in training customer associates to become equipped to handle the intricacies of the department.
