Overview

Responsibilities

  • Influence and teach employees to ensure our team is equipped with knowledge to support the Meat & Seafood Department. 
  • Independently travel and visit stores with a strong understanding of each unique location to ensure training standards and requirements are met.
  • Facilitate training and development programs to ensure performance and financial metrics are achieved.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify areas of development opportunity for associates.
  • Work closely with Acosta’s client base to understand present training needs, and assign and execute formalized training programs, plans, and curriculum that align with the business needs.
  • You will directly impact sales and profits by continuously evaluating, training, influencing, & communicating best practices and expectations with members of the Meat/Deli & Seafood department.

Qualifications

 

What you will bring to the team:

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and presentation
  • Ability to freely and as part of a team set up displays, take part in resets and remodels.
  • Ability to influence and support leaders to implement best practices.
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Willingness to travel using valid driver’s license.
  • Food Safety Certification (provided by company if needed)
  • High School Diploma/GED
