Work a Hybrid Schedule in Tampa, Florida!

 

You will lead one of Acosta's Analytical Services and Category Management teams with responsibility for leading, coaching and managing a team of professionals in support of internal and external partners, contributing to driving sales and market share in a specified market area.  

 

This role is the key contact for the Sales Hub leads and partners as needed in customer-focused objectives. You will work closely with the national analytics team and with clients, as needed.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to assigned team within Business Intelligence, ensuring to achieve national and regional objectives and provide optimal results to clients and customers.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with sales and client development leads to support the achievement of sales objectives and establish as a respected partner.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with other Business Intelligence teams (NCIM, COE, CA, etc.) in the achievement of company, client, customer strategies and objectives.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with existing clients and customers.
  • Develop and execute analytical services/category management plans and programs, both short- and long-range, to ensure profitable growth and expansion for company, clients, and customers.
  • Develop career path and development plans to meet current and future resource needs.
  • Contribute to financial management and compliance to P&L by managing assigned team with a focus on financial compliance and control.
  • Participate in task forces and other miscellaneous projects as requested by the leadership team.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement
  • Category Management Certification Preferred

Work Experience Requirements:

  • 8 – 10 years related work experience
  • 3 – 5 years supervisory/management experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

  • Must possess a solid working knowledge of the CPG industry (including data sources, industry tools/software/systems, and category management concepts) to lead a team in the pursuit of optimal results of company, client and customer objectives.
    Identifies best practices and opportunities to utilize and advance the organization in the execution of analytic deliverables.
  • Communicates complex issues clearly and effectively with widely varied audiences while gaining others’ input and understanding and anticipating outcomes.
  • identifies project and initiative opportunities for team based on company/functional unit strategic priorities and industry trends/opportunities.
  • Accurately analyzes complex issues, builds plan to resolve, including contingencies, and leads team in the execution of resolution.
  • Operates with a customer service mindset leading to effective and efficient relationships and results.
  • Able to recognize and articulate viable creative solutions to challenges and lead others through change.
  • Able to effectively delegate based on situation and skill level, with a focus on development opportunities for others, contributing to the building of a results-driven, continuous improvement team culture.
  • Determine and identify strategic opportunities that leverage strengths and minimize risks within the area of responsibility in partnership with direct reports and senior leadership.
