Client Profitability Director (Remote)

The Director of Client Profitability will be responsible for reporting on client profitability, highlight unprofitable clients, collaborating with business owners on strategies to improve client profitability and tracking improvement actions and the related outcomes.

The Director of Client Profitability will be working in alliance with other company leaders in the areas of Operations, Client Relations and Finance to help develop the optimal pricing and service delivery strategies for clients to ensure long-term sustainable profitability for Acosta.

This is a remote (work from home) position

Essential Functions:

• Updating the Client Profitability Model
• Interpreting the Client Profitability Model, determining the Clients to Target, and Coordinating Alignment with Business Owners on which Workshops to schedule
• Coordinate and Support Facilitating Workshops
• Support Business / Commercial teams with Analysis and Business Intelligence to create strategies to improve profitability.
• Track actions items and the impact of actions taken
• Support Pricing Team during RFP’s with learnings from Client Profitability
• Monthly reporting of Client Profitability
• Ad hoc research to support the business with profitability initiatives

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree

Work Experience Requirements:

• Working knowledge of pricing and the costing of service delivery models, as well as well read in both areas to advise on overall client profitability improvement.
• Ability to deal effectively with internal objections on the results of the financial models and proposed action items.
• Establishing a client profitability knowledge base and sharing success stories throughout the firm
• Expert knowledge of Excel and high proficiency with basic business software and collaboration tools
• Working knowledge of pricing and the costing of service delivery models, as well as well read in both areas to advise on overall client profitability improvement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:

• Entrepreneurial aptitude, positive attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Vendor management or account management background desired
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
• Must have innate understanding of retail financials and analytically solid
