    The Analytical/Data Scientist will primarily responsible for the standardized measurement of Acosta’s retail impact for clients. Measurement is done via a variety of quantitative methodologies.

    Quantitative Analyst Statistical Data Modelling    Math


    1. Gather information, design and execute statistical tests using a variety of measurement tools and summarize results for internal and external stakeholders.
    2. Design process improvements for all stages of project lifecycle..
    3. Develop understanding of all areas phases of Acosta business to find new opportunities for statistical measurement..
    4. Participate as requested in retail analysis presentations.



    Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

    1. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information residing in large datasets.
    2. Ability to read, understand and assess data models.
    3. Ability to present complex information in a simplified fashion to facilitate understanding.
    4. Intermediate+ proficiency level using Microsoft Excel. (Pivot Tables, Look-ups, graphs, macros etc.)
    5. Attention to detail and accuracy
    6. Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.

    Minimum Education Requirements:


    Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, CIS or related quantitative field, or equivalent work experience.
