    Responsible for the supervision of Business Manager Assistants.




    • Consistently demonstrate the highest level of proficiency in all Sales Assistant functions and company policy and procedures.
    • Serve as a resource to all Business Managers and Sales Assistant personnel in the branch and the hubs in addressing Sales Support questions and resolving promotion/order/deduction issues.
    • Perform all the responsibilities of a Business Manager Assistant.
    • Hire, train, develop, supervise, evaluate, establish work schedules, approve timesheets and complete the Payroll Recap for Business Manager Assistants.
    • Responsible for Performance Management Review process for all reporting associates.  This includes annual review, performance goal setting, mid year review and ongoing development.
    • Responsible for set-up, maintenance and training of all Sales Assistant and Sales users in Acosta and Third Party systems (i.e. Becton, SharePoint, TradePoint, UWG Portal, E-Contracts).
    • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of procedures for all clients represented within the teams of Sales Assistants.
    • Develop and maintain Business Manager Assistant resource guides and ensure departments/divisions are following defined processes and procedures consistently.
    • Thoroughly and accurately provide all New Account and Account Termination information to the appropriate designee.
    • Ensure that all Principal address changes are provided to the appropriate designee.
    • Maintain and circulate the client assignments list within the branch and hubs.  Provide all updates to Corporate on a quarterly basis.
    • Involved in the implementation of the Event Scheduler technology to generate customer contracts.
    • Perform special assignments for the company and/or branch as needed.


    • Business degree preferred, equivalent experience considered. 
    • Must have 2 years of supervisory experience.
    • Background in Sales Support and/or brokerage field preferred.
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Must be able to communicate in formal and informal settings.
    • Should be able to negotiate effectively and be able to motivate and lead staff.
    • Must know spreadsheet.
