    Natural Specialty Sales is a business unit of Acosta that is looking for a Client Manager to join their Team. NSS is a consumer products management organization, providing strategic operations and sales execution services to consumer brand companies competing in Canada.  Our focus is on Natural and Organic product lines, both Food & Beverages as well as Health, Beauty and Wellness products.


    The Client Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation and overall achievement of sales strategies for assigned Clients in the Natural Specialty Sales Division. This position is the primary conduit between our Clients and the Natural Specialty Sales Team.


      • Work with brands to develop strategies to meet sales targets and marketing goals
      • Take brand ownership and provide the vision, mission, goals and strategies to the sales team and distribution partners
      • Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies and align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics
      • Develop and translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies, including promotional trade plans
      • Develop strong relationships with distributors, retailers and internal stakeholders
      • Regularly monitor and analyze gap and sales reports to determine best steps to ensure the growth of each brand
      • Work with each Key Account Managers and Natural Sales Rep to ensure priorities are set and being presented at retail
      • Attend major reviews, new product presentations, Seasonal Plan-o-gram presentations;  with the customer managers as required or requested.
      • Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and forecast estimates
      • Measure and report performance of all promotions and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
      • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
      • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
      • Be proactive and anticipate bottlenecks of growth and communication with internal and external stakeholders


      • Previous work experience within the Natural and Organic food industry, speciafially in Natural personal care/Non Food is an asset
      • Additional experience with Direct Customer sales responsibility, Category Brand Management, Retail Store Management
      • Knowledge of differing route to market strategies for the Natural and Organic Channel
      • Demonstrated Leadership skills and ability to thrive in a fast paced team environment
      • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft software; PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook, knowledge of grocery internal POS systems will be an advantage
