    Responsible for ‘owning’ design for one or several internal and external digital products by leading UX and overall design direction through sketching, collaborative team involvement, research approaches, testing strategies, tools and processes, etc.

    Essential Functions of this Position:

    1. Partner with stakeholders, product owners, and development leads to plan strategic direction of products that align with business goals and customer needs.
    2. Define and lead quantitative and qualitative research techniques and discovery across all product efforts to create a rock-solid foundation and validate decisions.
    3. Guide others to delivering a beautifully crafted product as well as rolling up your sleeves and building things when needed to move things along.
    4. Help team members stay engaged and passionate about the work.
    5. Work with Product Management to define overall product direction/strategy/design.
    6. Craft compelling and influential presentations, presenting the story to all levels of the organization (including executives).
    7. Focus on data as a key element to the understanding of experience success.
    8. Performs other duties as assigned


    Minimum Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree preferred

    Experience Requirement:

    • Eight (8) years of experience in UX design or similar background.
    • Three years of management experience.
    • Experience across the full design process: research, ideation, concepting, prototyping, testing, visual design, working with developers, delivery, etc.

    Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:

    • Ability to get beneath the surface of what people say they want to truly understand what they need.
    • A portfolio that demonstrates your ability to empathize with your audience and leverage that empathy to create useful, intuitive and desirable solutions.
    • Ability to demonstrate what drove your design decisions.
    • In depth understanding & expertise of basic design principles.
    • Expertise with leading design tools such as Sketch and InVision.
    • Outstanding written & verbal communication.
    • Executive communication skills (presenting, storytelling, etc.).

    • Background in Consumer-Packaged Goods is a plus.
