  • Overview

    The National Retail Business Manager is responsible for the management and development of retail conditions for an assigned market.  They will represent Acosta and our clients by managing retail store set coverage, special projects, and executing objectives as set forth by the client, account, or VP of Retail, to achieve superior in-store results. The National Retail Business Manager will often be required to travel to other Acosta offices.

     

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Deliver retail analysis to the Acosta Sets and Projects Team.
    • Review cost metrics (travel, mileage, retail salary) with Retail Directors.
    • Ensure client objectives are followed by the Retail Sets and Projects Team.
    • Pro-actively communicate with Client and Acosta Retail Team.
    • Assist Retail Directors, Field Development managers and multi-function resources (Marketing, Sales Technology, etc.) to communicate customer needs, objectives and future plans.
    • Effectively and properly use technology, communication of retail priorities, and coverage analyses to have an effective feedback and measurement system.
    • Request and analyze specific retail conditions and information to develop data-based analyses and improve retail in store execution.
    • Perform special assignments as requested.
    • Travel required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent .
    • Prior experience with sales and marketing agency, retail and set responsibility required.
    • Expertise in Microsoft software; Excel, PowerPoint, and Access a must. Thorough knowledge of web based applications required.
    • Must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and sales skills.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and must be able to drive a car for an extended period of time.
    • Must be willing to travel, including overnight quarterly.
