Provide culinary training and sales presentation support to leading food manufacturer clients and SEG Category Managers in perishable departments. Train and present to SEG the use of client products.  Work closely with the perishable category managers on product innovation and menu development, through culinary driven presentations.


  • Support Acosta sales team members with culinary assistance in their selling activities. Includes recipe and menu application development, and participation in sales presentations by preparing and serving product samples.
  • Lead product training presentations for SEG category managers.
  • Create and develop culinary concepts, supported with accurate recipe writing and food photography.
  • Assist with developing and presenting new business opportunities.
  • Cultivate industry involvement in order to maintain knowledge of trends and contact with SEG decision makers.
  • Manage Innovation Center operating budgets to utilize financial resources responsibly.
  • Ensure clear and ongoing communication with SEG category managers and Acosta Fresh Sales Team.
  • Receives and examines foodstuffs and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications.
  • May supervise personnel engaged in preparing, cooking, and serving meats, sauces, vegetables, soups, and other foods.
  • Travel may be required. 


  • One year trade school, technical school, junior college or apprenticeship training.
  • 5+ years experience engaged in preparing and cooking foods in hotel, restaurant, cafeteria, or other establishment.
  • Superior interpersonal and formal presentation communication skills.
  • Ability to translate your culinary expertise and creativity into solutions that meet client needs and solve customer problems.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and under deadlines.
  • Ability to assess and win potential new business opportunities.
  • Ability to maintain client satisfaction.
  • A professional, sales oriented personality
