The VP, Global Product Lead is a leadership role that is responsible for driving strategic direction, business enablement, and product solution planning for software and services solutions. The person in this role will help shape the direction for products used by coworkers, clients, or both.


  • Obtains strategic initiatives from business leaders, their associated priorities and dollar value.
  • Owns and manages the entire portfolio of products across a domain (Retail; HQ/Sales; etc.).
  • Responsible for growing the talent of Product Managers on their team.
  • Performs discovery to understand opportunities.
  • Develops testable hypothesis statements and running experiments to validate ideas.
  • Assesses market competition.
  • Identify, analyze, and prioritize new features.
  • Works with clients to validate product ideas.
  • Prepare presentations for internal & external stakeholders.
  • Performs ROI analysis.
  • Owns the roadmap of current & future product releases.
  • Owns the release strategy (what, when, how, etc.).



  • Minimum 10 years of product management experience; five years of domain knowledge, either at a broker, retailer or manufacturer.
  • Proven ability to lead people and grow a product team.
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication.
  • Executive presence.
  • Collaborative mindset.
  • Must be a strong leader, creative, analytical, innovative and strategic in nature, able to negotiate and influence at the executive and manager levels.
  • Domain Expertise – deep knowledge of CPG and/or retail.
  • Creative – the ability to think differently and lead the creation of innovative products.
  • Positive – the worldview of “they aren’t problems, they are opportunities”.
  • T-Shaped – depth in at least one area, AND knowledge of many things.
  • Technology Literate – awareness of what is possible by leveraging (modern) technology
