    This role contributes to our client's success by utilizing strong analytical expertise to enable the Channel Planning & Development organization to deliver best in class sales and marketing plans rooted in holistic and actionable shopper insights. They deliver a competitive advantage by helping to integrate, synthesize, and interpret multiple and unique data sources that help provide unprecedented knowledge of the consumer and the shopper for the CPG customer shopper environment.


    • Assist in developing new consumer and shopper insights through the robust analysis of internal and external data sources.
    • Helps interpret insights to support the commercialization of those insights into Shopper Marketing strategies and Shopper Inspired Principles
    • Partners closely with Shopper Marketing, Category Management and Shopper Insights to support analyses that enable data based decisions regarding the shopper and consumer
    • Collaborates with field based sales teams to support their planning process by helping identify strategic opportunities.
    • Craft compelling, fact-based presentations for audiences with different levels of experience and seniority
    • Contributes data based input into the key CPG customer initiatives (e.g. new item launches) and key presentations
    • Provides analytical insights that helps the customer teams to grow shipments and share
    • Proficient knowledge of point of sale data, in particular household panel data
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
    • Possesses an understanding of shopper research fundamentals including experimental design, statistics, primary research techniques
    • Possesses strong communication skills and is comfortable in a “selling” role interfacing with our key CPG customers
    • Able to collect and sort data of a confidential and complex nature
    • Other duties as assigned


    • Years of relevant experience: 8+ years CPG industry experience, including 5+ years in research
    • Demonstrated success at leveraging insights to drive business results
    • Experience working shopper marketing or analyst roles in traditional CPG companies
    • 5+ years of experience working with point of sale and household panel data
    • Working knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research techniques
    • Ability to analyze data from many sources to make productive recommendations
    • Able to create compelling category stories
    • Able to creatively represent data visually for strong and effective communication of ideas and recommendations
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with others from diverse functions
    • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
    • Proficient in setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple projects
    • Able to quickly adapt to business challenges and changing circumstances and takes action to minimize or eliminate negative impacts
    • Able to handle and manage confidential information when working internal and externally
