Support the operation of the Acosta/Mosaic security apparatus, which includes firewalls, vulnerability assessment, utilities and services, network monitoring equipment, and the Security and Incident Event Management system.
Implement and monitor security systems by evaluating network and security requirements, configuring and managing systems such as virtual private networks, routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices while adhering to corporate standards.
Monitor the security environment, identifying security gaps, and evaluating and implementing enhancements.
Ensure that projects, programs, and other activities in IT are implemented with proper consideration given to security concerns.
Manage and maintain security systems.
Interact with associate population to address security incidents and answer questions concerning security policy and operations.
Participate in local and national security groups.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Five years of experience in information security, system administration, or IT networking.
One or more of the following:
Experience administering data antivirus solutions; Symantec, McAfee, CA
Experience administering Windows or Linux Servers in Active Directory environment.
Experience administering Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS).
