Must have a college degree and at least 15-20 years in sales or marketing positions of successively increased responsibility.
Must have proven track record in a management level sales capacity with a food broker or major national packaged goods company.
Prior experience must demonstrate proven sales skills along with the ability to successfully manage others.
Must be able to effectively communicate with others.
Must be able to speak, hear and sit for long periods of time.
Must have good vision, dexterous use of both hands and be able to operate a calculator, computer, printer, fax machine, telephone and copier.
Must be willing to travel.
Must be proficient in a variety of software packages used to support the sales function.
Must have the ability to analyze sales and marketing information needed to make effective sales presentations.
Must possess a solid understanding of the fundamental principles of financial management and possess the ability to effectively monitor and control expenses.
Must be able to effectively communicate the company’s operating philosophy, goals and objectives to all employees.
Must be an effective public speaker and be able to make persuasive presentations to principals and customers
